The key to Allison’s success as a counselor and therapist is her dedication to taking time to develop meaningful relationships with those she serves. She employs a variety of modalities, including psychodynamic, cognitive behavioral, and family systems. Her experience spans inpatient, outpatient, and home-based services. Her draw to work with U.S. Care is fueled by a belief that everyone—not just those who can afford it—should have access to supportive services to improve their lives. Allison has worked with children, teens, adults, seniors, and groups.
Allison has more than sixteen years of social and human services experience and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker – LICSW (DC), LCSW-C (MD), and LCSW (VA). She holds a Master’s in Social Work from Catholic University, a Master’s of Public Policy from Georgetown, and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Washington University of St. Louis. She also has done post-master’s work at the Washington School of Psychiatry.
